How It Works
This tool helps you learn to hear harmonic movement and play chord tones — the notes that define each chord.
Your friend's two-note concept is built in: restrict yourself to just two notes and make melodies through rhythm and emphasis.
- 1. Press Start — A I → IV progression loops in your chosen key
- 2. Play along — Use computer keyboard (a, s, d, f...) or click piano keys
- 3. Watch the glow — Chord tones light up on the piano (Beginner mode). Keys flash green when you nail a chord tone.
- 4. Try two-note mode — Pick two notes. Make melodies. Emphasize the chord tone, accent with the other.
- 5. Increase difficulty — Intermediate hides the tone names. Advanced hides everything. Pure ear.
